Today is National Doughnut Day!

Not only is it the end of the week, but it's also National Doughnut Day! This delectable holiday was created by the Salvation Army in 1938 to honor "lassies," which were female volunteers that supported the soldiers on the front lines during World War I. Many doughnut shops are giving them away for free today, so make sure you take advantage of it!
